DOUGLAS L RUTTER

Douglas L Rutter is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of The Rutter Organization, Inc.

Doug was born in Kansas but spent his formative years in El Paso. He attended Eastwood High School, where he was part of the 1976 Texas State Basketball Championship team. He later graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and Accounting while working as a Senior Analyst at El Paso Natural Gas Co.

In 1988, Doug founded Tax Matters Inc., a business that specializes in tax preparation and bookkeeping services. In 2001, Tax Matters Inc. became a member of Rutter Organization Inc. Doug is actively involved in the community and sits on several boards, including the Recovery Alliance of El Paso. A dedicated family man, Doug proudly considers El Paso his home and UTEP his alma mater.

Jessica Truly is the Firm Administrator for The Rutter Organization, Inc.

Jessica Truly serves as the Administrator for The Rutter Organization, Inc. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, she relocated to El Paso with her family in 1995. Jessica pursued her education at New Mexico State University (NMSU), where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance.

Her career with The Rutter Organization began in 2016 when she started as an Administrative Assistant. As the company grew, Jessica demonstrated her skills and dedication, leading to her promotion to the role of Firm Administrator. Outside of work, Jessica is a dedicated mother and enjoys spending her free time coaching her children’s softball and t-ball teams.
