Douglas L. Rutter founded The Rutter Organization in 1988, growing it into a diversified enterprise spanning tax services, private investments, real estate, media, and historical preservation.
With a background in finance, accounting, and business operations, Doug has advised thousands of individuals, families, and businesses while building organizations focused on long-term value. His leadership emphasizes strategic thinking, operational excellence, and lasting relationships.
Doug is also the creator and host of The Rebound 915 Podcast and founder of From the Rutter Collective, preserving the people, stories, and artifacts that have shaped the Borderland and beyond.
His community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors of Recovery Alliance and as founder and board member of the Spirit of ’76 Scholarship Fund and the Rylie V. Rutter Foundation.

Away From the Office: Doug Rutter
Away from the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife, Terri, and their three sons—Kyle, Dylan, and Tyler. He is an avid reader, enjoys exploring emerging technology, and remains deeply connected to the El Paso community.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Doug follows the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers, and New York Yankees, with a special appreciation for UTEP Athletics and the El Paso Chihuahuas.
His interests in sports, history, and storytelling extend beyond the office and continue to influence many of the projects he pursues.
Above all, Doug values family, lifelong learning, and the relationships built along the way.

She oversees organizational systems, workflow management, and client service standards, ensuring each experience reflects the professionalism and attention to detail that have defined the organization since 1988.
Working closely with executive leadership, Jessica translates strategy into disciplined execution while strengthening operations, collaboration, and long-term performance.

Away From the Office: Jessica Truly
Away from the office, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her children at the softball and baseball fields. As a proud sports mom, she loves watching her daughter, Charlie, play softball and her son, Bryce, compete on the baseball diamond.
When she’s not at the ballpark, Jessica enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and visiting one of her favorite cities—Houston.
Whether supporting her family or leading operations at The Rutter Organization, Jessica brings the same qualities to everything she does: dedication, reliability, and a genuine commitment to the people around her.
